Refined but not aloof

At the Mammertsberg, head chef August Minikus celebrates light and creative gourmet cuisine, skilfully blending the local heritage with international influences. In 2011, Minikus – who was the proprietor of the “Römerhof” in Arbon at the time – became the only chef in Switzerland to be awarded 17 points by the Gault Millau good food guide. Not one to rest on his laurels, Minikus has continued to strive for an even greater level of finesse since his arrival at the Mammertsberg, using fresh, seasonal and – as far as possible – local products to create exquisite fare.

At lunch, we serve award-wining delicacies for businesspeople and travellers: simple and unpretentious but paying great attention to that special detail. In the evening, we stretch the limits of time and space to offer our guests a sensory experience from the amuse-bouche to the home-made sweets.
